The third grade at MRE invited two representatives from the Plimoth Patuxet Museum for a hands-on discussion of Wampanoag and Colonial daily life during the 1600s.

MRE kindergarten students participated in a green-theme last week with a festive day at school!

MRE's third grade invited a yoga instructor, who is a third grade parent, to MRE for a yoga and mindfulness session. The students and staff enjoyed the rejuvenating exercise break.

MRE fourth graders visited the Concord Museum and participated in an archaeological simulation. Students learned about how two different groups of people; Pilgrims and Indigenous people (Nipmuck) used the land. Through the simulation, the students discovered more about early life and the culture of the people.

The Extended Learning Program hosted another fun-filled February Vacation Camp. Students participated in a number of activities ranging from Art and Legos to Drama!

The MRE Husky, named Oreo, recently received his name after a school-wide vote and made an appearance in a third grade classroom!

The Nashoba Community Partnership for Children is hosting a FREE STEM Event for families and children ages 5 - 8 years old. Ignite curiosity and creativity! Join us for fun hands-on STEM stations. The event will be facilitated by Barbara Jorda, Co-Founder and Program Director of STEM Beginnings.

Bryce Williams, the lead meteorologist at the National Weather Service for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, worked with the MRE third graders to connect on all things weather!

MRE Kindergartners celebrated the 100th day of school at stations filled with fun 100-themed activities!

The NRSD Jazz Program hosted their annual Nashoba Jazz Night the week before February break. The concert featured jazz bands from across the district, ranging from elementary to high school performers. The evening concluded with an NRSD District Jazz Ensemble performance of 2nd Line, a New Orleans Traditional jazz piece arranged by our own Nashoba Music Educators.

Nashoba Regional School District will be closed today, Monday, February 23rd, 2026, due to inclement weather.
